Resting Sunday, November 18, 2007 wow it's already november.  my website was down for almost 2 months and i'm so happy that my brother and i resurrected it.  september to january is my rest months before i make a big move over to london.  i had a taste of work there and i liked it a lot. it's just as tough and the projects are handled the same way they would be handled in manila.. ther isn't much difference really, other than i get to save more with the same work i do over in london.  early november my friends and i flew over to a nearby island, Cebu, where one of my best friends live.  we experimented with some underwater photography but it was far from professional.  at least i know a bit more about how to conduct an underwater shoot.  we tried it at the drop off, which means we were right at the edge of the corals of about 30-40 feet, which would make a sharp downward curve to about 100 feet deep.  it was nice to take photos over black water, the light would hit the person and the glow was intense i never thought people could bounce off that much light.  anyway.  a diver helped us go quickly down to about 3 meters and from there we would hold our breath and slowly float upwards, trying to hold poses. it was fun, it was really difficult and painful on the eyes.. and sometimes the throat.  these are some photos Rica took when it was my turn to pose.  i would feel my lungs getting tight and would rush to the surface and in the dizziness sometimes inhale a bit too early and lo and behold have lots of salt water in my belly.  sigh.  i got sick afterwards but the whole process was fun.  Show all posts Recent posts Photoshop Retouching May 8, 2008: New Home New Neighbours February 6, 2008: Moving to London New Thoughts on Work
