May 8, 2008e

Many changes yet again and it still hasn't fully sunk in, but it's going pretty steady.  After 3 months of being in London I've finally found my own place and I can finally leave my suitcase in a corner and unwind. proper unwind. I've got a job as an art director for gettyimages, which you won't see on this website since that would be a bit silly for the time being.  I leave this site for my personal projects.  I've shot a hula dancer and I've shot a british ex-monk who does brilliant calligraphy and tattoo designs.

I'm working on some animation for the web and I'm helping out my dear friend Kathy in creating posters for Reporters without Borders.  Busy days and it's good. I can't help but feel a bit lost away from the computer though.

I feel so unhuman.

Even in the gym I cringe at the thought of working out without music.  It's a bad thing. I need to listen to real noise and feel comfortable just "hanging out" again.  Who would have thought that I would get so mechanical.

My younger brother is moving to Holland next month and it will be a massive change for him too. I am proud he is following his dreams and stepping on shaky ground. we are tested only if we step out of our comfort zone. if we stay steady, we flourish.

anyway.

here is the park near my house. it is odd to see  "dead" winter trees, it was so beautiful while it lasted. spring is beautiful too.  and below are two of my neighbours. one is cool. the other is fidgety.
